The Better Bikeways Project is a speculative redesign of bicycle route signage for the city of Los Angeles. This exploration began as a graduate research project and has since expanded into a comprehensive proposal for a reformed bicycle route signage system.

Developed through a process of design, testing and community workshops, this system attempts to address some of the the holes in current signage particularly the general lack of useful navigational information for cyclists.

Better Bikeways was included as part of the 2010 California Design Biennial: Action/Reaction.
