This issue of CalArts magazine includes a celebration of the 10th anniversary of REDCAT (CalArts downtown center for performing and visual arts), a tribute to retiring faculty member Ed Fella and a profile of CalArts alumni working in the entertainment design industry. Visual inspiration for the design was drawn from pulp Sci Fi magazines and the work of Mary Blair among other sources.
