For the past 27 seasons, Grand Performances has been serious about bringing art to everyone—equally—in downtown Los Angeles through its series of free outdoor summer concerts. In designing the look for GP’s 2014 season we wanted to highlight the way in which Grand Performances forges connections—both within its diverse audience and between the audience and the musicians that Grand Performance brings from all around the world to perform in LA.
The vibrant visuals for the season referenced coming together and making connections across borders while maintaining the sense of serious fun that is so key to the Grand Performances brand.
